Whether you are an experienced Industrial Engineer or work in one of the 40+ areas in which handbook reviews you will find this reference invaluable. As with any handbook, there are some tradeoffs between comrpehensiveness and space, but the editor has done a great job at making these choices wisely. In particular, the organization of the book flows well through the issues, while the depth of the individual chapters provides sufficient detail to provide a good understanding (and in many cases application) of the issue without losing itself in the details.Excellent references provide a route ahead for those who want to learn more.I'd expect this book to be the standard in its class for some time.
