Review of Trade Options Online (Trading for a Living) (Hardcover)

Wow!A book that really delivers the goods.

Starting out with Online Investing 101. and moving on to Online Trading Resources Fontanills introduces the world of cyber trading. Then he moves to introduce theoptions basics strategies. In particular he concentrates on VerticalSpreads.and Covered Writes to show how to trade online.

Then he movesto his trademark of Delta Neutral Strategies. The book covers Ratio Spreadsand Backspreads, Sideways Spread Strategies. Now we got tothe bits that I really was thrilled by the Cybervesting from A to Z. Thisis a complete analysis of all the investment web sites that options tradersneed to know.If it is not here then forget it.This is an exhaustivereview of all the players on the web for option trading.

As a frustratedoption trader I was enthralled by his review of all the brokers and theirrankings. He is candid and brutal in his rankings. he concentrates on theirperformance not their marketing.I was surprised by his choice for bestbroker.

He wraps up with good sections on Living Online, Appendices andof course a Glossary.

This was a great read that will live on my desk asa reference guide for my trading. It is the Fontanills trademark of beingeasy to understand, practical and written for the average reader not thePHD. This man can really write so others can grasp the complex strategiesthat he conveys.

I like the candid story of his life, cancer victim,Harvard MBA etc. and now a money manager for a living.

Great read andinvaluable guide to how to trade options online.

Review of Candlestick and Pivot Point Trading Triggers + CD-ROM: Setups for Stock, Forex, and Futures Markets (Hardcover)

Before you read this book I would highly recommend reading any other with candlestick being the primary subject. "High Profit Candlestick Patterns" or "Profitable Candlestick Investing" - both by Stephen W. Bigalow or one of Steve Nison books. The more you know about candlesticks patterns and emotions behind them the better trading decisions you might be reaching.
Person's book is one of the very few explaining pivot point - very useful tool indeed. Using high closing and low closing doji with pivot point will not make you a perfect trader, but will allow to avoid disasters being to hasty (or too greedy ) in your decisions. Bottom line of any trading is discipline - and this book is trying to teach this showing how to develop and use very simple system.
CD provides nice overview of everything covered in the book plus pivot calculator. If you need one a bit more sophisticated, you can find it on [...].
Trading is about making money. Keeping things simple will make you a better trader and this book will help you in that.

Review of Volatility and Correlation: The Perfect Hedger and the Fox (Wiley Finance) (Hardcover)

If you are really into exotics, then this book will provide a lot. It is the most extensive book that I know and it is written by a trader for traders. It has some serious weaknesses though: its structure is somewhat chaotic and it seems as if the chapters have just been pasted together from different sources. On top of that, it is somewhat lengthy.

If you want to trade exotics, you have to read it anyway...
