Review of Powerhouse Principles: The Billionaire Blueprint For Real Estate Success (Hardcover)

Beeing an experienced (and successfull) developer in Italy, I can assure you that the book is phenomenal.
In this book I learned "something" that will increase my net-worth by the (many) millions.
Thank you Jorge.

P.S. For you that are starting out, get this book. You might not fully understand every single phrase of the book ... in any case you will learn a lot on the business of developing and/or investing in real estate

Review of Trump Strategies for Real Estate: Billionaire Lessons for the Small Investor (Hardcover)

No one knows Donald Trump better than George Ross, his right hand man for over 20 years.I wasn't sure what I was going to get from this book-- I picked it up because of Donald Trump's track record, and none of his other books really goes intoreal estate investing specifics. This book was a pleasant suprise with a lot of good investing tips. The best part of the book (and worth the $17 bucks) was the chapter on negotiation-- George Ross tells us how to make a good deal, great by using negotiation as a key tool.I can't wait to put this book to use.

Review of Think BIG and Kick Ass in Business and Life (Hardcover)

I picked this book up while browsing at a local Borders Books recently. I actually chuckled as I began turning pages and skimming through the table of contents and the first few pages.

Soon, I found myself sitting down - the book still in my hands. Next thing I know, I'm at the checkout paying for it. What happened??

Trump is an egotistical, self-serving man, no doubt. But let's be totally objective, as I was that day: good advice is good advice. And, most writers do not have the courage to dispense such advice in such raw terms as Trump does.

This book holds nothing back. Trump lays it all out on the table with blatant opinions, ideas and thoughts about those who've crossed him, helped him, etc. He tells you how you need to be (not just what you need to do - read that again!) to be successful. However - and this is the most important point of my review - there's truth to so much of what he says. It's helpful. You'll look at yourself differently. You'll gain insight, and you'll learn things about yourself that you did not previously know. You might even be vaulted to a new level based on what you read; I don't know - that depends on you, the reader, and your potential application of what Trump discusses.

I'm not a huge fan of Trump, the man, but I cannot argue with his success. Forget those who claim he was born into money; that may be true, but he continues to make headlines with regularity. His projects are everywhere; his stamp is clearly there in the real estate world.

If you like Trump, you'll love this book. If you don't care for him, and can put your personal feelings aside (he's never done anything to hurt me, so I was ok in that area!), you're in for a mind-altering , no-holds-barred, shot-in-the-arm volume of encouragement, confidence-building tenets.

This book made me want to run out of the bookstore and head right for my office to go to work (and it was Saturday afternoon). Highly Recommended!

Review of Trump University Entrepreneurship 101: How to Turn Your Idea into a Money Machine (Hardcover)

Gordon's Entrepreneurship 101 is one of the best books I've ever read! This all-in-one business book ranges from the entrepreneur's mindset to the actions taken. It develops a series of unique frameworks, models, and tips for essential entrepreneurial "thriving forces," the forces that not only lead the entrepreneurs to be successful, but also shape their business to be promising. Through a systematic approach and interactive learning model professionally designed by the author, the book enriched me more solid skills of HOW to turn our idea into a money machine that produces sustainable long-term profit more easily.Another feature of this book I particularly like is that the various analysis tools briefed in charts and exhibits can be downloaded from the website for our personal use.

I also appreciate the writing style in clear and direct presentation, which sort of exposed me to quick digesting, to quick absorbing, to quick thinking, to quick acting, and to quick changing. The best part of this book is the "Action" section at the end of each chapter. After getting the entrepreneur's mindset and being trained to think and act like an entrepreneur, you can't wait to take actions to be a real, ambitious and successful entrepreneur!

I highly recommend this book to all my friends, business partners and the people who are reading my review: don't miss this book; this book may also work its inspirational magic on you!As a venture capitalist, I can confirm with you that the people who possess the spirit of Entrepreneurship 101 are our investment targets!

Review of Trump University Real Estate 101: Building Wealth With Real Estate Investments (Hardcover)

This is not one of those garbage "no money down" real estate books, this book gives you valid and useful tips to help you build wealth in real estate, not pie in the sky nonsense. After reading this book I went out and did a deal (flip)and it went reasonably well. I'll get better with experience but this book gives you the basics to get started. Avoid all the no money, no credit books and read this one.
